The venue of the exhibition was, The World Trade Center on 20th of Sept 2016. The Gift Pouches and the Scented Candles were arranged on the table in beautifully decorated baskets. The table looked like a wild splash of colour .There was a portion of the exhibition had other Ngos as well ,who were also displaying their products . We were anxiously trying to spy on what the other Ngos were showcasing and were trying to measure the competition.
After the exhibition was inaugurated we saw a familiar face come towards our section. Suddenly we realized it was Vikram Phadnis the famous dress designer . There was a lot of excitement. He stopped by our stall and saw the colourful array of candles and pouches and very sweetly enquired what our Ngo was doing . It was a Manpasand Life’s first brush with a celebrity.
There was an Ngo selling Khakhra’s next to us and their Khakhra’s were selling like hot cakes .At times we were so envious of them.
It was a great bonding exercise for the Manpasand Team and a great learning experience .
